About Waki-Taki
Waki-Taki is a push-to-talk walkie-talkie you use straight from a browser — no app store, no account, no download. Type a name, pick a channel code, and hold the button to talk. Anyone who joins the same channel code hears you; anyone who doesn't, never does.
Each channel is capped at a small group by design — this is built for a handful of people coordinating in real time, like a crew on a job site, a group at an event, or friends splitting up in a crowd, not for broadcasting to a large audience.
Audio travels directly between the devices in a channel — it doesn't pass through or get stored on a central server. Once everyone leaves the channel, the conversation is gone; there's no history to look back on.
Waki-Taki is an independent, small-scale project. If you run into an issue or have feedback, you're welcome to reach out.
